well the last few weeks...okay i guess it has pretty much been two months since i last did an entry...but i hardly remember any of it. so to sum it up...it was a blur! Tim went to Iraq at some point and we moved out, sold everything, my mom came to visit, tim's mom came to visit, we had a giant garage sale, we did staff training, we lived in a missionary house for a week. not necessarily in that order. somehow along the way we contracted a virus of some sort that includes, but is not limited to watery eyes, runny nose, congestion, cough, fever, aches, headaches, and sometimes vomit when you least expect it. tim had it first, then annie, then jesse, now toby. they all three are still sick! it has been absolutely crazy and yet somehow we still feel completely sustained. we know we are doing exactly the right thing. we feel completely upheld!
so now we have started our 6,000 mile trip. We started in Waco and got about 45 minutes down the road before Toby threw up in the back. fortunately i was back there checking on him and was able to grab a bag of fruit loops and let him finish in there. we pulled over, got him out, stripped him down, tossed the car seat into the ditch, changed toby and took off again. we decided it wasn't worth cleaning it out. it happened one other time. we had to stop again for that. then stopped again a little later to buy annie more medicine, her congestion had gotten severe. so after driving for 4 hours, we were about 2 hours away from waco! we drove until we crossed the Mississippi and stopped at a Days Inn right on the river.
