 We got to stay with Andy and Steff, Tim's BFF from days of old! So sweet to see their girls and play a little!

We had fun...even if picture time went awry!! There's always next time! Thanks for letting us crash at your house! We are so thankful for you guys!

 Rain or shine our friends are committed to getting us good food! We had fun reconnecting with Janel, my BFF from junior high days! So thankful for lasting friendships and getting to see God doing more in our lives through our kids.

Kurds in Colorado!

 We got to reconnect with Kerry, my junior high youth pastor and his Kurdish friends! So awesome to travel all the way around the world and meet up with people who know some of the same people we do from back home!

It made us miss home and long to go back! We can't wait to get home!

Faithful Warriors

What a blessing to have lunch with these two. They share so generously and pray for us so faithfully. The love of Jesus oozes out of them. So thankful for these two!

The Ojalas and Chuck E.

 Sometimes it's the simple things in life....we have been back in the states for 2 months and haven't been to see Chuck E. Cheese. The Ojalas invited us to go for Gavin's birthday! We hardly ate pizza. Everyone was so busy spending their coins!

 And by everyone...I mean ALL of us! I think we won at least 200 tickets on this one!

 Later on, we had cake....

and watched a movie in the cool movie room, complete with popcorn and leftover pizza! So thankful to have spent a great evening and the next morning with the Ojalas. We are so blessed!

We finished up iCON the second week...Mr. Chris is so cool!

 We went swimming on the free day

 and watched a movie with the Dunns.

 I have to keep all this green, these trees, these mountains and the blue sky in my heart for this next season!

 Ms. Alyssa....BEST teacher ever!! So thankful for her love and sacrifice for us!

 We got out early on our last day...so we did the Alpine slide!

 Tim has some seriously, cool moves and I am not ashamed to broadcast!

 The kids made these posters that say "I will worship God in everything that I am." Then in green he lists some of his qualities: soccer lover, high dive lover, airplane lover, funny. 

Some of Annie's qualities include: reading, climbing, sharing, writing, loves animals, brave, fun and making friends. I love how my kids got to experience Jesus during this time. They both came back every evening with glowing reports of their worship time and the things they learned. Their journals were full of things that God spoke to them! I am so thankful for a church family that encourages kids so much.

 It was fun to see our teammates again....Stephanie and I did a little team bonding!!

 So fun to see how much Vera has grown in 2 months!

 It was tough and a little traumatic for some of us!

 In the end we took 3rd and were quite proud of ourselves! The little girls won the price for perseverance despite great odds as they had to wear a tshirt together the entire race!

 We drowned our sorrows in root beer floats!

 The kids did a great performance at the end!

 So fun to watch our kids worship Jesus!
