What a great week we had with my parents in Portugal! What a blessed life we live! So thankful for all the places we saw, all the people we hugged and all the memories made!

Lagoon beach

 We found a nice, quiet beach with tons of shells to swim at!

 And lots of little crabs!

Santa Cruz

 This beautiful beach with amazing rock formations was chilly and the waves were HUGE!

 The waves were crashing in so fast!

 The kids couldn't get out of the way in time!

I missed all the next pictures when Jesse got knocked over by the next wave and dragged out a little. Then he lost his shoes. I was screaming to get the shoes, then realizing that was stupid and screaming for him to come back. In the end, the shoes went in and out with a few waves and Annie was able to rescue both and Jesse was COLD and a little scared, but fine!

 This beautiful, old walled city was only 10 minutes from where we were staying and so fun to explore!

 Some of us had to come down the steps a "different" way!

 I was fascinated by the old wind mills everywhere!

 Walking around the walls was a bit terrifying and exciting!

 Loved walking through the cobblestone streets.
