Portugal: Surf's up Dude!

 I felt as exhausted as I look! It was NOT easy.

 That's my girl! Look at the cool, dreaded instructor cheering her on! Love it.

 Cold and a little bedraggled!

 After this was the MOST I have laughed in a LONG time! We had to change out of these wet suits in public! They are SO hard to get off and apparently the cooks decided to take a break right as we were dropping our drawers in the back. Anne and I have never laughed so hard together. It was so much fun!

 Fun times helping landscape the Mager home. Good move Mage...getting people to help you for a birthday party!

 I love, love, love strolling on the beach in Portugal and finding treasures...especially sea glass!

 So thankful for this little stopover on our way back to the States. 

Jesse's 9th Birthday

 Technically Jesse won't be 9 until May 23rd, but we will be traveling so we had to celebrate early. We started the morning off with a few presents from family!

 You look older already Jesse!

 We found presents at the used bazaar. This Lego set from 1976 came with instructions and the original box lid. All in pristine condition for only $6.  Score!

 We had a WIPEOUT party on the roof top!

 We set up an obstacle course and timed each of the kids going through it all!

 They got to throw sponge bombs and shoot water guns at them!

 The big bouncy balls! Not quite as fun as the ones on the show!

We ended the time with cake! We pulled it off...5 days before leaving the country! I was impressed. It was a really fun party and Jesse loved it. We are so proud of you Jesse! You are already letting God teach you how to be a leader! We know this year is going to be a year of big growth for you! We love you!
