the shells were amazing on this mostly deserted island
but the horses were wild and beautiful
we got to go away for a day while my sister and ben watched the kids. we went on a ferry ride out to this island to go shelling and watch the wild horses. it was a perfect day! my sister packed us this amazing lunch with the best wine EVER! it is from a local vineyard called Duplin. it was called red river or something. so good! it was great to just be together and have fun and not worry about keeping up with the kids. but i kept thinking...oh the kids would love this or that.
dating with tim is weird. we always talk and always are connecting...just in life, with the kids...regular days! i think we do a pretty good job, so when we actually go away by ourselves, it is always a little awkward at first because we feel like we should be talking about something really important or connecting in a special way. but i think we are pretty able to do that in the every day chaos that is our life! not that i don't feel much refreshed to get away from the chaos of my three sweet, but very loud children!
I'm so glad all the traveling is going well . . . I also wanted to thank-you so much for your encouragement for Adam and I while oyu were here. I wish we could have hung out and talked more, but wanted you to know how encouraged and spurred on in what we are doing we felt by your comments and prayer and everything :-) We are praying for you guys and are so excited to hear about everything as it continues to unfold!
