Toby's 6th Birthday!

I cannot believe I have a 6 year old BOY! Here he is in his cool long johns and baggy socks...first thing in the morning with our creative wrapping paper...you have to think outside of the box here! Toby this is going to be an amazing and special year for you! We are so proud of you! You are creative and smart. We are so thankful to have you as our boy! We can't wait to see what else God teaches you this year.

We found this punching bag set at a used store...so fun!

Once you're six you need to take out a little aggression...a punching bag is a great place to do that...instead of your little brother's face!

for all their birthdays and Christmas...we finally got something we have been working on for months done....we told them it was downstairs somewhere....so they searched all over...

and finally found it behind the curtains!

their own jungle gym...i know what you are thinking...the Meldrum kids do NOT need another thing to help them fall...but it's P.E. and FUN all combined in one!

The party was themed "A Lego Party"...so this is my attempt at a Lego cake! Icing this bad boy was a monster!

But Toby LOVED it and he LOVED his new transformer from Mimi! The decorations were PERFECT thanks to Jessica for sending us fun plates and napkins to match!

creating and building something from your mind is not a Kurdish skill that is taught from a young age, so it was interesting to watch the kids struggle through this simple activity. But they had a lot of fun once they got the hang of it!
