We were going to do a "shopping" party and take some girls to the mall, but none of them were allowed to leave our little city. Most of them have never even been to the big city. So instead, we decided to do a garden party!
the cake...I love this new marshmallow fondant! So easy to work with and easy to cover up any mistakes!
Each girl got a flower pot, trowel, glove and a flower hair clip.
This is what the party scene looked like when the party started. All of Annie's friends were gone or couldn't come for some reason. I was so sad and Annie was broken hearted. So we trudged out together in the sleety rain and found some more friends!
First they filled their pots full of dirt...but since it had been raining...it was more like mud!
They LOVED getting dirty and planting their pansies in their pots!
My JOY-FULL girl! I love that her heart is always full of joy and ready for any kind of fun. She especially loves dirt. She loves to create and she doesn't mind the messy process. She is teaching me so much!
Sweet friends. Everyone got to decorate their flower pot and make it uniquely hers.
What party is complete without a little face paint??
Let them eat cake!
Look at that silly Nian...trying to blow out Annie's candles while we are singing!
She got them all out in one blow!
Thumbs up all around...they all cleaned their plates!
the littlest party guests...Haven
and Vera...all dressed up in her "garden" best. Love having babies around to love on. It has brought out this beautiful side of Annie. She adores these sweet girls and loves on them any chance she gets. She is learning so much and even can balance them on her hip! My little mini-woman!
The "men" sat on the floor to have their cake...so the girls could be at the table. Love these servant-hearted boys!
Love the cake and love your heart for celebrating your family!!
