Mother's Day

In an effort to let go of control, I told the kids they can make me breakfast if they want. So they did...completely. I think the key is for me to just not even be in the room. I just cannot seem to help myself in wanting to "help." But they have it totally under control!
Seriously, my kids are amazing. Annie is so capable! I am so amazed by her!

They were so proud and made really tasty pancakes from start to finish and Jesse did the dishes! Don't you love the turquoise pancake?
Slightly rough morning shot...but keepin' it real! Got some amazing pictures from the boys with sweet notes. The best was a lap book by Annie. It may deserve it's own post. I do love WORDS of love from my kids!
We went to Suli for the day and went to the Copthorne for a fancy Italian meal! Toby felt he had to eat with knife and fork and tuck his napkin in. He was so cute. He is usually the first one done and it took him a full 10 minutes longer than everyone to eat his pizza.
We went to the used bazaar and found a Pampered Chef pizza stone and a pasta rack!! Also at least 5 pairs of Crocs! LOVE. Then on to bowling!
We are a pretty competitive bunch! Love the intense looks on our faces. Annie's is "COME ON." Mine is "oh please let her make it."
You may want to take notes on this amazing form!
 A few fun shots!
 Serious game face!
Crazy face! Good times with my amazing family. I felt loved and was able to love on the kids and just enjoy them. I am blessed beyond measure! Now to remember that next time they complain about dusting or bicker over something or I just get annoyed. Of course I am writing this AFTER they have gone to bed and am always able to feel sentimental about them, because it's so quiet and peaceful. I will say we are all loud, but it's a package deal with FUN!
