We got food, friends, sunscreen and a rented a boat and set out for an adventure!

We found a secluded spot on an island that the boat dropped us off at. Slightly scary, since we aren't sure whether the boat guy will come back or not, but SO FUN! We even had cliffs to jump off of!

So the water is a bizarre green color...and when you get out of the water you have all sorts of stuff clinging to your skin. I am pretty sure there are no laws against dumping in the water and I am pretty much convinced there are creepy, mutated, oversized fish lurking at the bottom of the lake! But my kids are way braver than me and wear goggles and try to catch the fish!
The boat did come back for us and even insisted we wear life jackets this time.
Water, friends, sun and spontaneous fun make me HAPPY...dirty, but happy!
