Printing our books

Who knew a place like this existed here! There are some serious machines in this place.

We got to take a tour of the printing process.  Annie is checking out one of our pages to see that the four colors are lined up.
The big machine is loaded with black, red, blue and yellow ink and a metal sheet is inserted onto a roller for each color. The paper then goes through the machine and gets swiped with all four colors. It can print 1,000 copies in 6 minutes.
These are a couple of the covers.
This is 6 pages of Stellaluna. This page then gets folded along with 8 other spreads like this. Then they are assembled and then the edges are cut.
 Loading more ink.
 The staple machine.
 Tim's new best buds.
Love this cool design. It says: Newzhin Publishing or New Life Publishing!
The girls were digging through the scraps.
This is the completed folded pages of Crickwing. He is showing Tim how to assemble them.

Then he took it to the cutting machine which can cut through hundreds of sheets at one time with precision. This was such a fun field trip! So thankful to watch Tim's work paying off in such living color and beauty!
