Packages!

we are now able to receive packages...although they seem to take around a month to get here. we just got 3 on the same day. they must hold them until we get a few piled up or something! that's rotten of them, but really fun once we do get them! these two packages...one from my parents and auntie connie and one from colorado buddies stacey and jenny! hooray for fun stuff. packages are so much fun to get! thankfully they are keeping my coffee and chocolate chip supply alive and well! i should take a pic of that. thanks to kourtney who sent some to me in thailand through a friend...i have a freezer full of coffee!
the kids squeal and get so excited when tim walks in with a box under his arm!
later on in that same day...the much anticipated gorilla box arrived. my sister and brother-in-law who are crazy generous. there should be a word for that. anyway...they sent this HUGE trunk full of stuff to make a great Christmas...they even sent it 11 months early! full of all our favorite things.
we laid it all out on this marine blanket and sorted through it all. jesse already stripped down to put on his new batman jammies. toby already digging into the candy.
annie, wearing a new shirt, and zeelan painting their new magnets from auntie connie. they had so much fun.
then on to the next craft. zeelan is the happy recipient of all of our american candy and crafts. not sure what she thinks...but i do know she is a lot like annie and feels really loved spending time with us and getting to do art! touches a special place in her heart! so thank you to all of you who have sent packages! we LOVE them and we LOVE you MORE!
this is a game from stacey and jenny. we used it for home school the other day to practice addition. we used chalk and wrote numbers in each circle and then annie had to touch two circles and make an addition sentence for a number i gave her. then she had to help the boys find two new circles. once again we attracted the neighborhood to peer over our wall at the strange americans and their weird school projects! we love it.
