Yesterday, we saw that rain was coming, which means winter is coming, so we thought we better take one last drive before it gets too cold and muddy and rainy to go anywhere. So we went in search of fall. I know it's December, but fall never came before that. We didn't find much color, but we did find leaves and some big climbing trees.
Brown leaves...not as fun as yellow or red! But still FUN!
I couldn't have asked him to make this face...but the boots combined with getting to throw leaves up in the air...PURE JOY!

we had to be careful about only picking up leaves and not all the loose dusty dirt underneath...Annie was kicking up a storm here! But unfortunately for me, my kids don't have an aversion to dirt the way I do.

i love these wheaty plants...i don't even know what they are called...but with the sun behind them...makes me feel certain there will be a GREAT HARVEST!

our spot was also right near a little creek....makes it look kind of jungly.
Tim made a fire and brought marshmallows...now that's a fun Dad!
