If you thought we were immune to keeping up with appearances here in Kurdistan...you were wrong. It just takes on a slightly different look. Everyone on our street has been content with the cement gray of their houses until a few new houses were built and painted. Now, suddenly EVERYONE is painting! It's not your typical colors though. This house next to us is purple and white. The one two doors down is lime green. The one next to that is peach, cream and lavendar. The one across the street is white and orange...what color should we paint ours? I was thinking turquoise!
sometimes it's the little things, but when my sister sends packages...it's BIG! Everything she sent was from Sam's Club...BIG mac'n'cheese, BIG cinnamon mix, BIG chocolate chips...mmmm! Mandi and Ben are some of the most generous people I know!
Their generosity brought Tim to tears with coffee and BIG bag o' bacon pieces. So good on pizza!
Other generous people are friends from Colorado! We just got a big package from them too. They included some fun gifts for the neighbors too! I love the heart behind that! Lavine has named her dolly from Tamsen "Avine." Thank you Tamsen for sharing! You are so special!
