Annie has been doing some experiments with radish seeds for science. We are using a book called TOPS. It has been so fun. It has been an amazing motivator for her to get her other work done so she can do her experiments. She is finishing in record time! Who knew seeds would sprout and even root onto a wet paper towel?! It only took 24 hours for her seeds to start to put out a little radicle.
We just used an old milk carton to place our seeds and have been recording and trying out different environments.
We have a greenhouse now, ones in acid rain and salty conditions, ones in soil, ones that were in the dark and light.
Annie has even eaten one root and all. Did you know the spicy taste comes in the stem even from early on?? It's amazing that so much can grow just from a little seed. Our God is so awesome! We are so thankful for our little home school and all the little discoveries we are making together!
