So proud of my neighbor who is in high school. She was selected by her classmates and her teachers to help speak out and raise awareness on female circumcision. Even though it is illegal here and people say they don't...their school did a little anonymous survey and found that 70% of the girls have been circumcised. She did a great job presenting all her information that she researched along with her classmates. The women that heard her speak sat in silence. When I asked the teachers about it later, they said they were probably upset about it, but maybe just maybe it will begin to open a crack into their darkened minds.
Jakow and her principal...both standing up for women's rights! I am proud of them and believing that this will open their hearts to believe the real Truth.
