Norwegian Leaves

One of the things we really enjoyed doing one day was raking leaves and making a giant pile to jump in!

Mr. Dan even helped us. He ran and borrowed rakes from neighbors and wheelbarrows.

Working was suddenly really fun!

We even raked up the red leaves from the front yard for the cherry on top!

Mr. Dan had the kids draw straws to see who would go first!

Annie got the long stick!

She got a running start!

But instead of jumping, she dove in and disappeared.

There is just something magical about leaves flying through the air.

This made me truly happy. Look at Tim's face. He was happy too even though he thought it was silly.

This might be my new family favorite picture!

If we could always feel so free and happy all the time. I wish I could give them this feeling all the time.

The moment we all had been waiting for...

That was so fun!

Tim can still get some air! I think he landed really hard though. The leaves look really cushiony, but they aren't!

Even Mr. Dan took a dive in the leaves.

I love this picture. I am telling you it brings out the kid in all of us.

A few more jumps for everyone!

There is something so wonderful about the red trees. I wish I had brought back buckets of these.
