As usual Tim and I planned a little getaway at the last minute...we had been talking about it for a month...but we finally made plans the day of! We found this cute B&B in St. Petersburg!

They even left us a heart cookie and two chocolate dipped strawberries!

we sat and drank wine with the owners for awhile and then walked downtown.

we walked through a cool art gallery and then had an awesome steak and baked potato...and maybe a drink!

on the way home we discovered this HUGE tree...it's a banyan tree....it's roots grow out of it's branches, down the ground and start a new trunk. amazing!

breakfast the next morning..stuffed croissant french toast!

we rented a private boat with captain to take us out on the ocean all day! It was so much fun! We went tubing...i am now sore ALL over from that. I suddenly panicked while on the tube that if i let go and fell off that i would be left behind forever and eaten alive by sharks. so i held on with a death grip and screamed the entire way...but it was really fun!

then we went snorkeling and saw all sorts of cool stuff, including this spider crab, tons of fish, hermit crabs, sea urchins, and this weird "cleaner" fish that would suction itself to us and NOT let go...it would swim all over us! it freaked me out...flash back to the tubing incident when i thought i might get eaten alive. I really thought i might by this 6 inch fish!

us in our snorkel gear...we were mostly in "sea grass" which was kind of freaky and you couldn't put your feet down because you couldn't see what might be in there. i stayed close to the sandy parts.

Three Rookers Bar...we then went shelling and snorkeling on this side where it was totally clear...we didn't see as much stuff though.

these little sting rays were everywhere though...again i am still freakin' out a little.

our boat...the Dream Catcher

Cap'n Mike made us some seriously awesome bbq chicken, potato salad, chips, Hawaiian rolls and drinks galore...so amazing!

on the way back we got to hunt for dolphins and Cap'n Mike did not disappoint. we got to follow around 4 dolphins for awhile...i won't post the 100 pictures i took though

but they are so beautiful!

the moment we've all been waiting for....Cap'n Mike and Tim
