Love is sacrifice and hard work!

 When we moved here we learned a lot about this culture and adapted to it, but they have also learned a lot of our culture. One thing they have adopted from us is having birthday parties. But most of the moms are not really into that just yet. But Annie has such a big heart that if a friend has a birthday she feels they must have a cake and a party. I also was a little partied out, so I told her, if she took care of everything she could do it. Reggie and Annie set to work making up games, a cake and threw a party for the neighborhood. I only came out to snap a few pictures. Annie was exhausted and frustrated at times with all the demands and of course...the cleaning up! But she persevered and showed her love to our friends. I was so proud of her and she was so proud of herself!

Toby and Redwan, the birthday boy...all dressed up in his best suit for the party. He was so thankful for his little party and enjoyed all the attention.
