As we have walked through this book, we have enjoyed every moment. I am learning how to love and appreciate having a big girl...a TWEEN! I am amazed at how she is growing and becoming such a young lady after God's own heart! This date was called: The True Source of Beauty. We went on a hike to spend some time in God's Beauty!
We found an amazing little area full of trees and trails that overlooks our town! We had so much fun walking and exploring nature together!
Then we sat down to spend some time with Jesus together. We learned that true source of beauty is in God's Presence. We had to take about 10 pictures, before we finally got a keeper.
It's more fun to take silly-face pictures!
I love this one! Annie, you are beautiful on the outside for sure, but I love what God is doing on the inside. You are FULL of grace, just like your name means. I am so proud to be your Mommy and now I hope to be your best friend too. You are teaching me so much about having fun and enjoying being together! You are fun and wild. Everywhere you go you bring laughter and joy!
After our time together, we spent a little time alone with Jesus, while the sun began to set.
Even though I don't know the future and wish I could freeze these moments in time, I cannot....Really I don't want to either! I have so much to look forward to and I am just going to enjoy NOW...slowly!
Thank you God for giving me a daughter! May I treasure her and teach her to hear you and plug into the True Source of Beauty. May she hear your Voice and follow after you.
