Mastering a back flip!
Since we were staying right in a small village, we could easily access the mountains and forest trails! So every day, I went walking through the forest. A few days, we went on a bigger treks as a family!
They were so excited to be exploring the wild!
I couldn't stop taking pics!
I love this picture of Toby with the sun just right and his walking stick.
We went off the track a little.
We found blueberries!
It was a perfect trail snack.
Tim amazed the kids and pushed down a dead tree! What a great, cracking sound!
The wild plants were beautiful too. I had to take pictures of everything so I could try to keep it all in my mind and soak it back up into my soul during the dry times.
The next day, we went out geo-caching! This lake is right by the house, I loved seeing that white house up on the hill.
Geo-cachers!!
Walking into the "city".
The Lutheran church of the town.
They were searching hard!
I was looking at the wildlife.
Who wouldn't want to live here?
I found the ferns fascinating!
One evening Tim and I took a walk and sat on this bench sans camera, but the sunset was absolutely exquisite! It shone down on the mountains across the lake.
Another cache!
Found it!
This may be one of half a dozen pictures I am in! I love this picture though with my fun kids! What a wonderful adventure we had!
Apparently the village is known for it's cows! There were several farms and we often heard them and smelled it. I loved it. Very comforting noises and smells.
The lake was home to a family of swans! I loved the gray babies.
Bottoms up!!
