I just enjoyed seeing this old gas pump every day on my walks!
Annie started praying before we left on vacation that she would get to ride a horse. We encouraged her to pray but told her to prepare her heart to not receive that. Annie discovered that the neighbors had horses, so she began visiting them every day and watching them from afar.
It was really fun for her to go out and watch them.
Little did she know that her prayer was about to get answered in a big way!
Every window and I am not really exaggerating here, but EVERY home at least, had an orchid and candles in the window sill. Many homes had orchids in every window!
Plus, people didn't close up their curtains at night, but let their cozy lights shine out. It was so fun to peek into everyone's warm homes at night. I want to go buy orchids and candles for all my windows now!
