okay...seriously...i am letting the secret out of the bag...we do not live in the dreaded iraq...we live in paradise. we live in this amazing, rugged, undiscovered adventureland! i seriously am amazed every day by the view from my kitchen window, but then when you drive just a little bit, you can see the snow capped mountains in the background and this picture just does not do it justice...but trust me, this is where you want to plan your next vacation...well that is if you like squatty potties, eating leaves, greasy rice and sleeping on the floor. but we could possibly hook you up with better accomodations...power sketchy at best!
we found a tree...i know that doesn't sound amazing to you! but it is! we could climb in it and it had leaves that fell...you know like FALL! we have seen little trees here, but this guy was HUGE! we were all giddy!

and this fun tree...who doesn't want to hide in it?
we actually were hunting for a cave...we heard about it...unfortunately the discovery of it is still yet to be! but that's okay...we had so much fun trying! look...more trees and yellow! we usually only see brown. we were so amazed! look at my little explorers in their rubber boots!

we all crossed this pipe...i think i was the most afraid!
then we found this tree...it was like it had been waiting for us!
the kids hiked up a mountain all on their own! they were so proud! we are going back to this spot again soon! i just cannot get over how blessed we are!
