we don't get many visitors here...but if you are flat, you can be emailed easily...just get scanned in and away you go. so a friend of a friend is doing a school project with "Flat Stanley" to see how many places around the world he can get. So we were able to host him for a few days. He is a big fan of these tall skinny cokes with the Arabic script on them.
He also hitched a ride in Annie's backpack one day and went to school. He was a little nervous and hung out in her pocket most of the day. I don't blame him, he was probably a little worried he might get slapped by one of the teachers. He was also worried he might fall into the squatty potties here! also a terrifying experience...who doesn't worry about that? but he survived, even though he did get a little crinkled up in the pocket. He came out for a quick photo op at the end of the day!
He also came with us to the village and enjoyed doing home school with us. I think he is off to Canada now...Thanks for coming Flat Stanley!
