we have 5 singles that live in this town with us Bobby, Jesse Tillman, Elijah, Laura and Carol. Sometimes in the hub-bub that is my life, ways to make them feel loved get lost in the confusion, even though we LOVE them dearly! So we decided to throw them a little dinner and serve them all the way through. so we made invitations, placemats, menus and decorated the basement complete with lights and candles! This was all Erin's idea...so she enlisted my help and Wendy's help to make the food. Wendy made an amazing salad along with a banner and place cards, Erin made the main meal and i made breadsticks and tiramisu!

here they all are sitting together!

my kids planned and were the entertainment! toby went around with his legos and built things for everyone...well i think he made it through a couple of people and then got tired...

but annie kept up the act and performed magic tricks, read a poem and made them all glasses from something called "wikki sticks". she was a class act for sure! she has such a big heart and loves to do things for others...well most of the time...not if she is made to do it...but then again who does like that? not me!

here are the chefs...me, Wendy and Erin...wearing Annie's aprons...none of us have our own, but somehow annie has 3!!

Paul, Paul and Tim all served and did a great job! no spills or broken dishes! way to go guys!

Wendy brought this amazing centerpiece with "Nergez" flowers in it. so fragrant...how does God get a scent in something! The girls each put a flower behind their ear! This is Carol.

Here's Laura...pretty girls!

here's the sweet centerpiece
I am not even lying...my senior prom was called "A Knight to Remember" I like to refer to it as "Knight of Terror."
