After almost 10 years we are still really bad at dating...but the good thing is we usually have a lot of fun together without calling it a "date." Fortunately for us this year we have had teammates that have offered to watch our kids on several occasions! This is so great, because not only do we not have to plan ahead (which we are hopelessly terrible at), but we don't have to pay them (well we never offered and they never asked...) This last week we went all the way into the Big City! We went shopping at the used bazaar first! I love that place! Found lots of little treasures! Then out to eat at this new, nice restaurant! Tim order Quzi...some kind of stuffed bread!
I got a chicken tika and then we got a million sides...the bread was amazing and the atmosphere was so beautiful...water fountains and tablecloths even! This is extremely rare!
This is a picture of the entire complex...we love coming here, because it feels like home to us!
Then we tried out the coffee shop next door...we could also have smoked a hookah...but we passed on that! =) We sat out on the patio...since their was so power...some things don't change around here. But it was still beautiful to watch the sun set behind the dust layer that was covering the sky! Thanks Paul, Erin, Carol and Laura for letting us off for the afternoon and evening and thanks for loving our kids!
