I give you the next trend in high fashion, modeled by professional models....THE MAXI! We are demonstrating the versitility in movement, the variety of colors and of course the many ways to be-dazzle them around the neckline! Carol swore off buying a maxi for a couple of years, but we finally wore her down. She now has two! Don't be fooled...she LOVES it!

This week has started off every morning with the sound of large machines 5 feet from our bedroom window. They decided that after the homes were all built would be a good time to build the roads...the guy driving this hulking machine can not be more than 20 and he drives it like a race car, swings the handle around. It's frightening. Many times we heard big boulders tumbling down the hill toward our house, only to stop inches from our wall. all the while, none of them ever look concerned that it might possibly smash through our windows. but supposedly we should have an amazing road outside our house real soon...we shall see.

Annie asked me to blog this picture. She loves maps! I love maps! My Dad loves maps! I am happy to see that passed on to her! She spends her Geography time every week memorizing songs, and painstakingly coloring each country and memorizing it! She said she should be called Map Girl!
