This week for art, we took a field trip to a beautiful spot...not many right now when everything has been scorched by the summer heat...but we love the Tree... we can see it from our kitchen window...the one tree on the horizon. they were trying to study line and detail.
they were so serious about drawing and LOVED going on a field trip...even though it was rushed and very simple.
you know your kid lives in iraq when...they squat to draw!
there's the impressive tree...the sketches were really fun...i didn't get pictures of them though and I sent them on to Mimi.
