We love this book! We have read it over and over! The kids beg me every time it rains to make a thundercake. I usually say no....but since it's the year of yes...this time I said YES!

counting the miles between lightning and thunder...i may or may not be the one making the thunder noise...you gotta use a little imagination sometimes!
we ended up decorating it the next morning!
because who doesn't love chocolate cake for breakfast? it had strawberries on it and the secret ingredient...tomato puree inside. so it must have been healthy. although I had a serious sugar crash an hour later!
