The Hard Life!

Okay...so I know I don't live the hard life! Others before me had to pay the dues for me and for that I am SO thankful! We have way better power and internet than years previous...we can also afford to have a dryer! At first I was a little embarrassed that I wasn't roughin' it like everyone else...but ultimately the soft, warm feeling of my clothes out of the dryer absolves all guilt I would ever feel. I do have to wait 24 hours or more sometimes for a load to get dry between power turning on and off and the dryer is small and takes a long time. Tim decided that he could take it apart and make it work better. Mostly I totally love and trust this about Tim. He has fixed and improved our lives often! Sometimes however it has ended the life of whatever he has taken apart...so I was a little nervous to have to go back to the hard life. But once he opened up the dryer...we discovered it was FULL of lint. Crazy! So he cleaned it out thoroughly and put every piece back together! He got to the end and had a part leftover though, but he quickly figured it out and got it back in to where it belongs! So now I not only have a dryer, but it works way better now and is totally clean! Thank you Tim and thank you God for giving me a husband that works so diligently with his hands and mind...so i don't have to live the hard life! I would have never made it in the jungles of Papua New Guinea!

  2. You (and I) have it "better" than some and "harder" than some. It's always good to remember both perspectives. :-)
