Wasn't it yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital? Wasn't it just the other day that she learned her first word? Please tell me this beautiful, tall, girl is not MY Annie. I am still suffering from a little shock, but mostly I am just PROUD. This is our daughter. This is the most precious gift entrusted to us by the King.
No toys for this girl...flip-flops
new clothes...hand on hip...fortunately no mood swings or eye rolling.
Fun new breakfast idea...one drop of food coloring in a tablespoon of milk and you can pain a fun design on bread and then toast it. LOVE.
Had to go back to the tree...this time with Tim!
We were jumping on the loose rocks to dislodge them and find potato bugs and lizards. Fortunately no scorpions!
This kid loves to live on the edge. He makes us all laugh with his crazy antics!
Explorers!
us girls...what would I do without my girl?
She is starting to look off to the world...but she still loves to be with me. I am so blessed and am trying to value each moment and treasure it.
Jesse said, "I love doing DANGEROUS things, Mom." I know you do...but could you not fall down the dark hole filled with scorpions and centipedes?!
My boys.
What fun we had together on Annie's birthday. A slow start to the day with a fun breakfast. Then rushing through school so we could take a long lunch and go to the tree. We ended the day with Annie's favorite Black Bean soup and cornbread. She asked for a cheesecake for dessert. YUM!
I cannot believe she is this old. sigh..... ;) she's beautiful--can't wait to hug her this summer.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl with your AWESOME cake finishes!!! So glad Annie's party was redeemed with new guests! Made me think of that story in the word of the servants told to go get guests who would come! Sounds like you (and all of yours) are thriving. Can't wait to catch up in person this summer!
ReplyDeleteThat hand on hip Annie-pose with the flip flops is SO Kristi!! She is such a little mini-you! :)
