Bedroom Makeovers

When we got home...our first order of business was to turn the office/homeschool room into Annie's room! So we moved all the office stuff downstairs!
The walls were in bad shape and had to be patched up!
Annie and I took a trip to the paint store. The guy took one look at us and said, "who will paint this?" I said, "I will." He said, "Oh this is a problem!" So it was good ammunition to paint this room amazingly...including mixing our own color!
We bought white paint and added purple and red dye until we had just the right color!
We call is wisteria! Sort of a pinky-lavender color.
The safe is her new nightstand...partly because she needs it and mostly because it takes at least 4 guys to move it=not worth it!
I stopped by IKEA when we were in the states and picked up cute fabric and a new duvet cover for the room!
We inherited a mosquito netting canopy from a friend!
We made a little reading nook in the corner and covered up the safe! We still have some things on our wish list to make it complete...we hope to get a new bed and a wardrobe for her...this will also double as the guest room! Annie misses her brothers but loves having her own special space!
The boys got an updated look for their room too...I painted the walls and covered up all the grubby fingerprints! Now they have a lot more space to play!
