TEAM!!! We are outnumbered by all those kiddos! We hiked up a mountain....our kids beat us to the top for sure! Guess we need their energy and drive!
It was steps at first...
Then the kids went off the trail and blazed one of their own. Love their spunk. Slightly terrifying though...
Amazing view and clear...we could see all the way to Iran! (the snow-capped mountains in the distance)
We hiked up to this shrine in the side of the mountain. Not really sure on the history, but frequented by Christian-background people every year!

We came down the mountain and played a few outdoor games...
and ate more of our yummy snacks!

We stopped at our little "pumpkin patch" this year...the selection was pretty miserable...but still fun.
It's about tradition...not about perfect pumpkins!
Best part was some cottonwood trees turning yellow....FALL!!!
Love the beautiful valleys tucked away waiting to be discovered. I know it's like the rest of the country. There are soft and beautiful hearts ready and waiting.
