Happy School Days

Most days I feel like I am behind...not doing a great job...and MUST do more! I know, I know...i shouldn't think these things, I am a good Mom, etc. I get it! I am NOT trying to have a pity party for myself, I am just sayin'...those are the things I fight and for the most part...it's a winning battle! This picture is one Tim snapped, because I must have been winning on this day, because not only am I planning for home school, but i have an apron on, which must have meant I was feeling domestic and baking up a storm ( I made bagels which were a little more like biscottis and granola). But I decided to post this picture to remind myself that I am doing a good job and that I don't have to always FEEL like I MUST do MORE! It's wearing off on Annie and I hate the anxiety that I see it bringing out in her, so I am determined to learn with her to speak TRUTH over myself! So there you have it!

It's easy to spot the TRUTH in my kids though...look at them lovin' on Aram and showing him pictures from this book!

Our favorite time in school this year is ART! We found this fun curriculum to work through together. We also discovered water color crayons! they go on like crayons and then you paint water over top and they turn into water color creations!

Here's Toby's final product...a recreation of when he got sprayed in the face with gas this summer!

This is Jesse's re-creation of playing in the pool with Uncle Josh and Logan. Uncle Josh is brown with a green head on the right and Jesse is above him coming down head first after Uncle Josh threw him up in the air!

Annie's is a re-creation from when she went on the ride Atlantis at Sea World a couple years ago!
