I made this little hat for Lavine...she was so excited! It's part of the new me! We just took a "giftings" test and I found out I am highest in Craftsmanship! That means I'm an artist! I knew I was an artist when I was 5, but then I slowly began to believe otherwise! Now I see being an artist looks different for everyone! Here's what it looks like for me right now. Practical and sweet! I am having fun finding ways to make things with my hands that will bless others. I got to pray for her the whole time I was making it. Now wherever she goes she is covered in God's blessing! There is no escaping it!

ReplyDeleteDo you have a link for a pattern? I've been wanting to try my hand at making those type of hats, but I got bogged down in all the patterns available (they're probably all open in tabs on my computer :-).
Oh, and way to walk out in the creative. That's something I'm trying to be more open to, as well. I've had some success in the "craft" area, but I'm feeling nudgings toward art, as well, which will be a bigger leap.
