Zilan is officially a teenager! We brought her a sign and some cards first thing in the morning! Later on in the day, I gave her all her notes. I think she ended up with 30! She really thinks she must be famous in America! She heard loud and clear that she is beautiful and that God has a plan for her!!
She was insistent that she decorate her cake...so I let her. But I wrote "You are Beautiful Zilan" on the top. She had no choice there!
The neighbors gathered in our kitchen for cake, presents and the song!
Every teenager needs a purple purse with all the necessary things like deodorant, shampoo and lip gloss!
Since she is so famous, we also had to get her a pair of movie star sunglasses! She had such a special day!
