The Beach!

We finally made it all the way down to the beach today. The kids had great fun in the water, I however, was too scared of the cold! Toby was threatening to throw sand on me if I didn't come...I didn't!

 This little chicken stayed close to shore too.

 Not this girl...she is more of a "BRING IT!" kind of girl! I love that about her!

 the water is perfect for the kids to swim in which is so fun for them. I am super impressed with their improvement in swimming already.

 This was just a warm-up...although the water is FREEZING!

 After lunch the boys played a giant game of chess...the King piece was oddly familiar...note the hamburger in his hand...that kid takes forever to eat lunch.

 Jesse was in charge of moving all the pieces...Toby was the brains of the operation.

 a mini game of soccer...our boys actually held their own against these big boys...thanks to all the neighborhood games back home...speaking of HOME...we miss it. We love being here, but we do miss home. We plan on enjoying every minute here, but it's a good sign that we miss home, we miss our neighbors, we miss our team!

 Had to get a least one family pic of us all looking our best before an amazing Italian dinner tonight. My dress is a wrap skirt that Tim got for me in Dubai...it's fabulous! I am so stoked that he can actually pick out clothes for me now!

Having so much fun with my husband...even if he wears tennis shoes to nice dinners...maybe someday that will be really endearing to me! He claimed his feet were tired of flip flops and of course he couldn't bring his nice shoes...because that would be too many shoes to bring on one trip! But...he did bring 2 swim suits...slowly I am changing his anti-fashion ways! He is so much fun, and so good-looking even with tennis shoes!
