The Big God Story Day 2

Getting ready for Crazy Hair Day!
I love to see how happy the kids are at sitting on the floor and creating something with their hands and being silly!
 Holly has skillz!

 What a cutie!
I can't get over how different each Kurd looks. They are so beautiful!
Our friend Diako stayed with us for a few days and helped run the program...he even did crazy hair! He has a natural way with children. It was so fun to see him in action.
Who will win the prize for the craziest hair?
Who can resist this face and I love the "do."
 spoon race

the winner won cookies for their team
I definitely have my "teacher face" on! Gotta love my crazy hair!
We talked about how God keeps his promises and illustrated that with stories about King David...we acted out David defeating Goliath!
At the end they wrote their names in clay that will harden to symbolize that God will not forget his promises to them! They will be set in stone! We had half as many kids this week, because of some stirring up of a local leader saying that coming to the center was bad. But the kids that came heard and had fun and it was so much easier to love on 35 kids! We are so thankful!
