The strays seem to know where we are and all come to our home. We are happy to help! Tweety's stay was a little short though!
She just appeared outside our front door and we couldn't find a momma or a nest. So we set her up in a little box.
By the afternoon she was not doing so well...we hand fed her some water...but in the end it just wasn't enough!
The kids were all really sad...especially the boys...but we gave her a proper burial! Another little lesson on life and death for the kids! Caring for the unwanted is something we always want to be ready to do.
