You may have noticed Holly escapes many of my pictures...she doesn't like the lime light. In fact, she is so good at serving others that they often don't even seem to notice. The neighbors have been VERY impacted by Holly, along with many others, but I have a front row seat to the neighbors. She is always there for them for every little need. She is often behind the scenes orchestrating little things to make life easier or happier for all of them. She definitely does not get the thanks she deserves. Especially with Aram. She started serving Aram before she even got here. She fell in love with him in my updates about his arms and need for healing! She began praying for him then. When she moved here she started working with him several times a week. That turned into story times together about Jesus and Aram sharing his heart and life with Holly. He loves her and trusts her. But because his culture does not know how to appreciate this great sacrifice, his family will often snub her or say cutting things to her to try to get her to do things for them. But I was able to catch these awesome of pictures of The Amazing Aram vs. Hot Hands Holly. Who dresses up with preschoolers and crawls on the floor with them?
She even play fights with passion!
But in the end the defeating blow was too much for her...
The Amazing Aram has defeated Hot Hands Holly. Holly has left a mark on this family though. Her hot hands have served, touched, prayed, cooked, massaged, carried, hugged, and loved this family! She is a hero and she will be a huge part of this family's story of coming to Truth! Holly you are amazing! Thank you for loving so many of us so well.
