The Island

 I told Tim for my birthday I wanted an island. It would have been fun to GO to an island, but this is much more lasting! So a month or more before my birthday he began gathering supplies and tools. 

 Tim has always been good at fixing things and making things, but this time he really outdid himself! He loved doing it too. If we were out somewhere, he would say, "we should get back so I can work on your island." Very sly on his part to get me home from shopping. 

He also found a granite top to make it amazing!

 Thanks to Josh and Bevin and my neighbors I now have baskets and glass bowls to decorate it with.

 It's amazing and I use it all the time now. I really don't know what I did without it before.

My favorite part is the secret drawer. I lined it recently with pink and zebra striped contact paper and it makes me happy every time I open up the drawer. Tim, I love that you SHOW me how much  you love me.
