Carol was able to join us for a couple of weeks and we had a little get together at the park for her.
Students, neighbors and friends all showed up to tell Carol how special she is. We put together a wordle for her. Everyone contributed words in English and Kurdish to tell Carol how special she is. It turned out really cool.
Several people shared from their hearts about what Carol has meant to them.
We are so thankful for Carol's part on this team. The years she has poured out her heart and life here. It was very evident on this day as there were many tears shed, hugs and lots of pictures. She was an amazing teacher here and friend to many people. She left a wake that won't soon be forgotten!
We all piled into cars to get home afterwards!
