Canyon, Roses, and Waterfalls

It's fun to wake up and snuggle with Papa!
This has to be my all-time favorite thing to do. These are all my favorite things combined into one. Coffee, IPOD playing Jesus Culture, my journal, my Bible, the sun in the early morning and the Canyon! I could spend hours sitting here, hanging over the canyon. The scary thing is I seriously feel like I could fly hanging over the edge.
I love the all the roses that are planted on the grounds of this place. They are so beautiful. I can't get enough of their color and their fragrance. They are so striking against the dry and dusty surroundings of our town. What a gift from God!
I love getting away, because it's the only time I can force myself to just BE with my family. To just run and play and have no other worries. Nothing else nagging at the edges of my mind to DO!
Annie challenged me to a race up the pole!
I lost...I think I made it 6 inches off the ground. I never could shimmey!
Toby can crank the ball. It's amazing to me what he can do even with his glasses.

I have to try to capture the roses.
 Picture time!

Love my camera. Love my family. Love my memories captured forever.

  1. Wow Kristi--your photos are awesome! I think Portugal has some competition :)! So glad you've had great visits with both sets of parents!

  2. I know sometimes you wonder if your kids will be sad they missed out on a normal childhood--I think they will love you forever for taking them with you on this adventure. :)
